We regularly receive questions about our actingclub, and so have taken the opportunity to address some of those questions here for prospective acting students. If you have any questions not covered in this section, please let us know, and we'll get straight onto it!

Who are these classes designed for?

These classes are designed for anyone 16 years old or over. A mix of ages is encouraged, as it provides a wider breadth of life experience. And also it provides a stimulating and diverse environment that everyone can contribute to.

Students do not need to have previous experience, but it is an advantage.

These classes are aimed at those who see acting as a profession, but as long as you are prepared to do the work and be professional in class, you are welcome to come and work with us.

The acting club sessions are specially designed for those actors who have theatrical experience and are looking to prepare themselves for challenges specific to film work.

 Actors who feel their film work going soft and want to keep the edges sharp.& who desires to work in a strong, committed class but whose schedules do not allow them to enroll in a long-term classes.

I’m a working professional & I don’t have much time except Sunday?

Good news is that we do rehersals on Sunday also.

I've had some experience as an actor, but it was years ago and I feel that I'm really a beginner again. Do you run beginners' classes?

Yes

Are there opportunities for acting club members to participate in your company’s theatre productions & Films?

Yes,Being an acting club member gives you the privilege to participate in all our productions which we stage regularly at public places.

How many students in a class?

A maximum of ten actors.

Actors will also have an opportunity to be selected to perform every month in Barista-Chilsag actor's troupe, which will perform improv shows at the studio every month.

 I'm over 50 years old, would there be a place for me in your Theatre productions?

Of course. Acting isn't limited by age. Our job is to portray people - and people come in all ages, looks, sizes and shapes. If you're willing to have a go, let your hair down a little and "play" with us, then of course you'd be welcome. As actors, we should never stop learning, never stop stretching ourselves. It's something we should do all our lives.

How do I book a place?

An interview is required for actors whose work we are not familiar with. This is an informal interview to gauge your level of training, level of commitment, and potential for growth in the class.

What are the timings and ?

Group A ||10:00-12:00pm||  Group B ||3:00-5:00pm||Group B ||6:00-8:00pm||
